It all started when…

WE HAD TO BE ON A LOCKDOWN.

Why is it that when someone says we can’t do something..it becomes the only thing we want to do? I’m not going to lie this past weekend has challenged me and every other small business owner mentally about what is going to happen in the future.

Chasing my dream has always been something I knew I was going to do. Did I think that a virus was going to make the entire world shut down in my first year of owning a business, no. Am I using this time to broaden my horizons mentally, spiritually and physically, yes!

After a weekend of wondering how something like this could happen and how it is going to affect all small business owners, I decided that sometimes having to lose control puts us exactly where we need to be. If you know me, I drive my body into complete exhaustion with chasing this wild dream of mine. Realizing that I have to work from home has made me think differently and really appreciate the days that I took for granted driving to the studio everyday. As crazy as all of this is, I genuinely think that it is going to change the way we used to take things for granted, I think that is a beautiful thing. I think our appreciation for what we have, what we are going to do, and what all of us have in store ahead is going to change completely.

We all miss our loved ones and friends. We miss going to the job we complained about. We miss grabbing a drink on a Friday night. We miss the normalcy we took for granted.

As tough as the days ahead are going to be, I hope that everyday you find one thing to be grateful for.
